OPERATIONS MANAGER           

Fabrication - Welding - Industrial Painting

Guelph, Ontario | Full-Time

$120,000–$140,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Benefits

We are a family owned and operated steel fabrication, ASME welding and process piping company in Guelph, Ontario, growing to approximately 65 employees.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take a leadership role in our day-to-day operations and help take the company to its next level of growth.

This is a key management position with significant responsibility for production, people, scheduling, productivity, quality, safety and on-time delivery.

The successful candidate will be a strong manufacturing leader who knows how to organize a busy fabrication operation, develop supervisors and hold teams accountable for results.

 

THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the President, the Operations Manager will oversee the company's manufacturing operations, including:

 

You will work closely with Production & Project Management, Early-stage prep departments, QC and Purchasing to ensure that projects are completed efficiently, profitably and on schedule.

You should be comfortable walking into the shop each morning and determining:

What resources do we need?
And are we going to meet our commitments?

The successful candidate will have the credibility and experience to earn the respect of skilled tradespeople while also having the management ability to work with senior leadership.
