Job Title: Meat Processing Operator

Location: Scarborough

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Meat Processing Operator to join our production team in Scarborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for marinating, handling, and packaging poultry and meat products in a fast-paced food production environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

 

Responsibilities

• Process, marinate, portion, and package meat and poultry products according to production specifications
• Operate processing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety, and workplace safety procedures
• Perform quality checks to ensure product consistency and packaging accuracy
• Accurately label, seal, and prepare products for shipment
• Work effectively in refrigerated and cold-temperature environments

 

Requirements

• Experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing preferred
• GMP training/certification
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Comfortable handling raw meat and poultry products
• Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments for extended periods
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Bilingual in Spanish an asset
